Adaptogens are biologically active substances found in certain plants that make them adaptable. The term "adaptogen" was originally introduced in 1947 by the doctor N.V. Lazarev to describe a substance that has a regulating effect on the body in states of stress.

The name derives from the word "adaptare" and means translated "adapt".

With adaptogenic plants, nature provides a special group within the medicinal plants.

Adaptogens have been used in Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years due to their diverse effects.

The best known are schisandra, ashwaghanda (sleeping berry and winter cherry) and rhadiola (rose root).

In the case of physically stressful stress factors, adaptogens can develop their helpful effect on bodily functions in a wide variety of ways.

E.g. in which adaptogens exert their regulatory effect on important hormone-producing glands that are instrumental in the body's response to stressful situations, these stimulate the release of certain other hormones, thereby helping to bring the body back into balance, enabling it to better able to withstand a stressful situation.

Direction for use: As a dietary supplement, adults take 2 (two) capsules daily with water with a meal.
